Harshil Safi Principal Architect

Harshil is a practising architect and founder principal of architecture design combine (adc). After graduating from LBH College of Architecture, Mumbai (2009) he worked with the renowned architectural practices of Talati & Panthaky Associated Pvt. Ltd. (TPA) and Shakti Parmar & Associates Pvt. Ltd. He has had the opportunity to work on various residential, commercial, institutional and hospitality projects such as the Reliance Global Headquarters (Santacruz, Mumbai), One BKC (BKC, Mumbai), The Address (Ghatkopar, Mumbai), Brewery House (Bangalore) and The Radisson (Khajuraho) during his tenure with the firms.

Having gained a deep understanding & technical know-how of the complexities and intricacies of various building typologies, Harshil founded adc in 2016.

Harshil strongly believes in the honest expression of materials. His attention to detail, love for experimentation with materials & techniques (old and new), enable adc to provide unique design solutions. The clean lines and geometry, minimalistic yet warm character of his designs are truly reflective of his design philosophy.

He is passionate about Product & Furniture Design - personally handcrafting pieces from time to time. He also dabbles in Photography, capturing adc’s completed projects through his lens. His photographs adorn the walls of some of adc’s Interior Design projects.

Harshil is associated with LBH College of Architecture, Mumbai since 2018, as a visiting faculty for the Design Studio – sharing his knowledge and practical experience with the students.

Harshil also has a Masters Degree in Environmental Architecture from Rachana Sansad’s Institute of Environmental Architecture, Mumbai (2012)


Loretta Rego Safi Principal Associate

Loretta graduated from Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai in 2007 and has a Masters Degree in Environmental Architecture from Rachana Sansad’s Institute of Environmental Architecture (2012).

Her core strength lies in ideation, conceptualization and collaborating closely with all stakeholders. Her analytical approach to brief development ensures that the Client’s expectations are accurately translated into the built form. Loretta’s structured approach towards the design process and constant endeavor to improve and innovate enables adc to maintain a high standard of creative excellence.

Loretta is a passionate supporter of sustainable and integrated design and constantly strives to make our projects at adc energy-efficient, sustainable and cost effective. She is constantly in touch with upcoming sustainable design practices & technologies through various workshops and seminars.

She has worked on several large scale institutional projects such as the Capitol Complex and the Secretariat (Naya Raipur), Indian Institute of Technology (Mandi, Himachal Pradesh) and Ravindra Bhavan (Canacona, Goa) while at UCJ architecture & environment (formerly Uttam C. Jain architects & planners)
